Ceiling panelling
A bathroom ceiling takes as much steam as the walls do, and it is the surface where paint fails first. The 250mm range is rated for ceilings as well as walls, so the same finish can run from floor to ceiling without a change of material.
Which panels are rated for ceilings
The 250mm Wall & Ceiling range is supplied as a wall and ceiling panel. The Linea range shares the same 250mm format. The wider 1m boards are supplied as shower panels for wall areas.
Why the 4m length matters here
Two panels — High Gloss White and White Silver Strip — are available at 4000mm. A 4m length will span most domestic ceilings in a single run, so there is no cross-joint down the middle of the ceiling. The same length suits horizontal feature runs on a wall.
What it gets you
- No painted ceiling to re-do when steam lifts it
- The same wipe-clean, non-porous surface as the walls
- A continuous finish, with no line where wall material stops and ceiling material starts
