Choosing

Which thickness and length do I need?

Two decisions: how thick the panel is, and how long. Thickness follows the format — the wider 1m boards are thicker — and length is about the height of the room, not about coverage.

Thickness

5mm — 250mm panels
The narrow-format panels. Light to handle and quick to run, and the same 100% waterproof surface as every other Pannello panel.
8mm — 250mm panels, including all Linea
A more substantial narrow panel. Every Linea tile-effect panel is 8mm.
10mm — 1m boards
The wide-format boards. Fewer joints across a wall, because one board covers a full metre on its own.

Length

Length is the height the panel covers. Anything above your ceiling line is cut off, so a longer panel does not give you more coverage — it gives you more room to work with.

2400mm
Standard ceiling height. The 1m range.
2600mm
Taller rooms, or where you want cutting slack.
2700mm — Linea only
The extra length lets you stagger the scored cut lines between panels, so the tile effect does not repeat in a uniform grid.
4000mm
Horizontal runs and ceilings — a 4m length spans a ceiling or a feature wall without a join.

How many packs?

Every pack covers one metre of wall width, whichever range you choose: the 1m range as a single 1000mm board, the 250mm range as four 250mm panels. So measure the width of each wall in metres and round up. Allow a little extra for cuts and mistakes.

Packs needed by wall width — the same in both ranges, because a pack always covers 1 m.

Common questions

How thick are Pannello wall panels?
Panels come in 5mm and 8mm in the 250mm range, and 10mm in the 1m range. All are 100% waterproof regardless of thickness.
How many packs of wall panels do I need?
Each pack covers one metre of wall width, in both ranges. Measure the width of each wall in metres and round up, allowing a little extra for cuts.
What length wall panel do I need?
Match the length to your ceiling height: 2400mm for a standard ceiling, 2600mm or 2700mm for taller rooms, and 4000mm for ceilings or horizontal runs. The excess is cut off.
